DAY 101 OF 365

Day 101

Verse
“But be sure to fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you.”
1 Samuel 12:24 NIV
Story

Samuel stands before Israel with a call that cuts through distraction: consider what great things He has done for you. Scripture shows that gratitude anchors obedience. When a man remembers God’s faithfulness, his heart naturally leans toward surrender.

Samuel knew Israel would be tempted to drift, just as men today drift when memory grows dull. A man becomes grounded when he rehearses God’s goodness. Gratitude keeps the heart soft, steady, and aligned.

Fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully is not rooted in duty but in remembrance. Samuel reminds men that God’s past work becomes the strength for present obedience. Forgetfulness leads to compromise.

Remembering leads to faithfulness. Samuel teaches that a man who reflects on God’s goodness finds his heart strengthened for every responsibility ahead.

Prayer

Father, help me remember Your works with clarity. Let gratitude shape my faithfulness. Teach me to serve You with a whole and willing heart.
