“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.”
Gentleness is not weakness—it’s disciplined strength. Jesus described Himself as “gentle and humble in heart,” yet He overturned tables and silenced storms. The Spirit’s gentleness restrains anger without denying truth.
Moses, called the meekest man on earth, learned gentleness only after surrendering pride. Gratitude produces this spirit because thankful hearts no longer need dominance to feel secure. Leaders led by the Spirit correct without crushing, guide without boasting, and restore without resentment.
Gentleness rebuilds what harshness destroys. It reflects the nearness of Christ, who treats sinners with compassion while calling them to change.
Lord, teach me the strength of gentleness. Help me speak truth with grace and lead others with humility. Amen.
Gentleness turns authority into safety—people follow those who make them feel valued.
