“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
Romans 12:11 NIV
Zeal is holy enthusiasm, not human hype. The Spirit ignites passion for God’s glory that outlasts emotions. Gratitude fans this flame by remembering why we serve.
Without zeal, faith becomes routine; without love, zeal becomes reckless. Jesus’ zeal consumed Him because it was anchored in the Father’s will. Leaders filled with the Spirit radiate energy that motivates others toward good works.
Passion tied to purpose changes nations.
Lord, rekindle my passion for Your house. Let zeal burn cleanly, fueled by gratitude and love. Amen.
Zeal without direction burns out; zeal with gratitude burns bright.
