“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Forgiveness is the fruit that proves we’ve been forgiven. It doesn’t erase memory; it releases mastery. Joseph forgave his brothers because he saw God’s hand above their harm.
The Spirit empowers that same vision—seeing redemption where resentment once ruled. Gratitude softens the heart that wants revenge. When we remember how much we’ve been pardoned, mercy becomes natural.
Unforgiveness chains both offender and offended; forgiveness sets both free. Leaders who forgive model heaven’s culture in an unforgiving world. The Cross remains our example: love choosing mercy over vengeance.
Father, thank You for forgiving me beyond measure. Help me release others as You released me. Make my mercy a testimony of Your grace. Amen.
Forgiveness is strength that refuses to be ruled by pain.
